THREE TOP TIPS TO STAYING ORGANISED FOR THE WEEK

 Being organised can have many benefits from helping you reach your goals to helping you be on top of your daily tasks. 


This post will highlight three top tips on how you can stay organised throughout the week.


TOP TIP ONE  

WRITE A LIST of absolutely everything you need to achieve and complete for the week in a notebook. It does not matter how long this list is at this stage. Don’t worry you won’t have to complete it all in one day. 


Woah, that’s a long list right! Now what you need to do is allocate these tasks to different days of the week making sure you spread them out evenly depending on when in needs to be completed. 


The larger tasks can run over two or three days if you want to break it down into smaller actions, this way you will have more time to do other tasks on your list.


If your weekly schedule is coming too busy, make sure you prioritize and put some of the nonurgent tasks into the following weeks plan.


Writing it all down will help to you to keep track and allow you mind to relieve the stress of having to remember everything that needs to be done.


TOP TIP TWO

PRIORITIZE you’re your tasks by completing at least one to three main tasks each day. This way you can make sure that the tasks you set for the day are guaranteed to be completed. 


With doing fewer tasks it also gives you the opportunity to do the job well and give you a chance to get ahead of the schedule and complete the tasks you may have set for the following day. 


TOP TIP THREE

KEEP TRACK of everything you have done throughout the day including the emails you have had to deal with and the calls you have had to make. All of these small tasks take up time, and it all adds up.


Sometimes you will get to the end of day feeling exhausted but also feeling like you accomplished nothing, when in fact you did quite a few things. It’s all the small tasks throughout the day, or the time you have spent helping others with their tasks or work load tat take time from you completing your own. 


When you keep track you can begin to see what you have been doing all day, and it makes it easier to improve how you plan your day.


A few easy ways to improve, will be spending less time in your inbox and only responding to emails at specific time of the day.
